The Accounting Speaker Series – March 4th Event Invitation is complimentary to attend and guests will hear from David Negus (CA), Vice President & Corporate Controller at lululemon athletic and Arif Ahmed (CMA), General Manager of Choices Markets and Canadian Choice Wholesalers. Speakers will share insights into what factors have contributed to their professional success along with the benefits of having an accounting designation.
Guests will also be joined by accounting professionals currently working at many of Vancouver’s most recognized organizations including Ernst & Young, IBM Canada, KPMG, PwC, Reid Hurst and Nagy Inc., TELUS and Vancity. Following the presentations, guests will have an opportunity to speak with these professionals at a networking reception.

I don’t know if you are aware but the link to registration does not work at least for me. After clicking the next few steps, I arrive at this error message: “The Registration Issue configured (M1) is not the same Registration Issue (G2) attached to the event.”

I am not sure why the link isn’t working for some students. It worked for me, but there are a few other way you can get to that same page.
Here’s are two quick ways:
1) Use this link – http://www.boardoftrade.com/events/overview/2902706936.aspx
OR
1) Go to the Vancouver Board of Trade website – http://www.boardoftrade.com
2) Click Events located on the upper left of the tabs.
3) Scan the list for a Board of Trade event that you are interested in and click details beside it. This one is called “Leaders of Tomorrow: Accounting Speaker Series”
4) Click Register
5) Follow the instructions (You need to become a member with Board of Trade first)
