… excited to explore a potential career in the tax industry by gaining first-hand experience preparing the 2015 Canadian income tax returns for many clients AND networking with tax professionals, or
… eager to improve your client service, leadership, problem-solving, and other soft skills, or
… enthusiastic to meet other UBC students and form lasting relationships,
you are in luck!
Because the UBC Tax Assistance Clinic will
… provide all the training and tools that you need to prepare an income tax return for an individual with simple tax situation,
… organize exclusive events for you to network with experienced industry professionals,
… host super fun social events where you can meet and bond with fellow volunteers and supervisors
… reward your hard work and dedication at our annual Volunteer Appreciation dinner at the end of the tax season.
You will also receive a certificate from the CRA as proof of your involvement!
