As a reminder, tuition payments for all pre-registered courses is due Friday, November 3rd. Any pre-registrations that remain unpaid after this deadline will be cancelled. To complete and confirm your registration in these courses, please complete the steps below:
Step 1 – Check your list of pre-registered courses
You can find the list of courses that you’ve pre-registered for through your Course Registration History on my UBCDAP.
Step 2 – Cancel your pre-registration in any courses you no longer want to take
If you do not wish to proceed with registration in any of the courses you’ve pre-registered for, please select the “drop” button next to the applicable course(s). If you do not take action to pay for any pre-registered course or withdraw your pre-registration by the November 3rd payment deadline, it will be assumed that you no longer want to register for the course. Your pre-registration from the course will then be cancelled and the spot will be made available to all other students.
Step 3 – Pay for all pre-registered courses that you plan to take
Once the payment option has been activated on October 10th, you’ll see a link stating “Click Here to Make Payment” next to all pre-registered courses. By clicking on any of these links, you’ll see a table on the next screen which allows you to select which pre-registered courses you wish to submit payment for.
Credit cards (Visa and MasterCard only) and money orders are the only acceptable method of payment. Please also note that the credit card that you used to pay for Winter Term 1 courses WILL NOT be automatically billed, so a separate payment MUST be made for Winter Term 2 tuition fees. If you are paying by money order, please send a money order to the DAP office for the applicable amount, payable to “Sauder School of Business” and ensure you include your name and student number on or attached to the money order.
Step 4 – Check your timetable on the Student Service Centre (SSC) and look for student fee re-assessment
Once payment is received and your course eligibility is verified, the courses will be transferred to your SSC timetable within 2 business days. Once your Term 2 courses have been added to SSC, your student fee assessment for this year may also be adjusted, so please make sure to check your financial summary on SSC and pay the additional assessment by the deadline given.
Starting October 10th, tuition payments will be due upon registration for all Winter Term 2 courses and registration for Term 2 courses will remain open until January 16th.
