As the Accounting Assistant at STAT, you’ll be supporting the finance team. You’ll be responsible for – and assisting in – a multitude of financial tasks, including the monthly processing of customer invoices, collections, and year- and month-end closing.

In order to be successful in this role, you need to be an excellent communicator, exhibit superior attention to detail, and change your middle name to Accuracy. OK, the last part was a joke, no name change is required, but you do need to pride yourself on accuracy.

This Role reports to the Director of Finance.

The start date for the position is May 21st – August 31, 2018 with possibility of longer term.

Weekly hours are negotiable, between 20 – 40 hours per week depending on the candidate’s situation.
