As a reminder, DAP and the Sauder Business Career Centre (BCC) will be holding a joint CPA Recruit Overview & Best Practices workshop next Wednesday, May 16th, 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm.
If you are considering pursuing your CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation, this session is highly recommended. With the recent changes in CPA Recruit, you will not want to miss this opportunity to find out more about the how to make a big impact on your success of landing a position. This session will include:
- Overview of the CPA Recruit process and changes for this year
- An opportunity to find out more about CPABC and how they can help in your journey
- Presentations from the DAP/BCom Accounting Clubs and further details of their planned events
- Best practices to improve the CPA recruit experience
You will also hear from a panel of senior accounting students who have successfully gone through the CPA Recruit process – including strategies and tips they wish they knew beforehand. This will be a great opportunity to ask the panelists questions so please come prepared with those burning questions!
Please note that this session will be applicable to all students, however those who will benefit most will be students who have already started networking and been actively preparing for Spring Recruit and/or those planning to apply for positions that will be posted in the Fall.
