Boost your resume with practical skills by completing UBC DAP’s Sage 50 Level 1 Certificate and Sage 50 Level 2 Certificate workshops on June 15th and 16th (Level 1) and July 6th and 7th ( Level 2).
Each 2-day hands-on course, facilitated by Sage50 instructor Megan MacLean, CPA, CMA will provide you with skills in accounting software often required to qualify for entry-level accounting positions.
Both workshops will be held at the UBC Point Grey campus, 9 am to 4 pm each day. The cost for each workshop is $195 + GST. Level 1 – June 15th and 16th, 9 am to 4 pm
At this workshop, you will gain the following skills:
- Understand the core functionality of Sage50 software often used in small to mid-sized businesses
- Utilize the software for real-life business situations
- Access important modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledgers, Reporting
Level 2 – July 6th and 7th, 9 am to 4 pm
Pre-requisite: Completion of the Level 1 workshop
This workshop builds upon the concepts covered in the Level 1 workshop and will offer a more in-depth knowledge of advanced topics in Sage 50, including:
- inventory
- advanced features in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including foreign currency transactions and sales online
- an overview of processing payroll transactions

Im interested in sage workshop, and i noticed it is requires two separate classes to acquires the completion of the workshop, i couldn’t make it on june 15th &16th since im out of town at this moment, but i can attend the second workshop on July 6&7th.
I understand i need attend both workshops, if it is possible allow me to attend the second workshop ? please advise .

Hi Karen – Level 1 is a pre-requisite for the Level 2 workshop on July 6th and 7th. Demand permitting, we are planning to hold the workshops again in the Fall.
