New Winter Term 2 course – BUSI 414 – Data Visualization and Business Analysis

UBC DAP is excited to offer a new course January 2021: BUSI 414 Data Visualization and Business Analysis.

As mentioned on the CPA Western School of Business’ transfer credit guide, CPAWSB will require all CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) students to meet a new course requirement for anyone starting CPA PEP in January 2022 onwards. To ensure DAP students continue to meet CPA entrance requirements, UBC DAP’s BUSI 414 is currently under review by CPAWSB and we anticipate this course will fulfill CPA’s new Data Analytics and Information Systems (DAIS) requirement. BUSI 414 will equip you with a heightened awareness of systems, technology, and data analysis that is becoming increasingly preferred by employers. In this course you will also gain an understanding of data analytic thinking and terminology, as well as hands-on experience with data analytics tools and techniques.

BUSI 414, Sec 201 will be held on Thursdays, 6:30 to 9:30 pm as a web-oriented course. Get a head start in your studies and gain a competitive advantage with employers!

Registration for this course is now open and can be completed through Register Now.

Note: the pre-requisites for this course are BUSI 291 and BUSI 335
