New Winter Term 2 course – BUSI 414 – Data Visualization and Business Analysis recognized to meet CPA’s Data Analytics and Information Systems (DAIS) pre-requisite

The CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) has now recognized DAP course BUSI 414 – Data Visualization and Business Analytics as meeting their new Data Analytics and Information Systems (DAIS) pre-requisite for admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP). This pre-requisite is required for candidates starting CPA PEP January 2022 or later. See page 3 of the updated CPABC transfer credit guide for full details of the required courses available through DAP for admission to CPA PEP.

BUSI 414 will be offered for the first time starting this upcoming Winter Term 2 (January 2021). Completion of this course will equip you with a heightened awareness of systems, technology, and data analysis that is becoming increasingly preferred by employers and an understanding of data analytic thinking and terminology, as well as hands-on experience with data analytics tools and techniques.

BUSI 414, Sec 201 will be held on Thursdays, 6:30 to 9:30 pm as a web-oriented course. Get a head start in your studies and gain a competitive advantage with employers!

      Hi David – yes, BUSI 414 will be offered in upcoming terms, but the exact schedule of which terms has not yet been set.
