Wiley Publishing will be holding a workshop on March 4th and are looking for students to participate on a student panel for a session on “What are Some Challenges Facing Students Today”. Please see below for further details from Wiley on this session, along with instructions on how to apply.

Wiley Publishing would like you to join our Vancouver Accounting Workshop on Friday morning, March 04, for a session on, “What are Some of the Challenges Facing Students Today?” The workshop is held at UBC Robson Square, 800 Robson Street, Room 150/180.  If you are interested, please share your name and contact information with Anita Osborne, Senior Marketing Manager with Wiley (aosborne@wiley.com) and she will get in touch with you to prepare you for the task.  We would like students from introductory accounting or intermediate accounting.  We would need you for about 30 minutes at the event and a phone conversation as well.  We offer a letter of reference for your CV as well a free book of your choice from wiley.ca.

Wiley recently held the same event in Toronto and the students enjoyed seeing their professors looking like students!  It is a fun experience.  Dress code is business casual (clean, tidy jeans are acceptable).
