If you’re applying for approved path jobs through CPA recruit this year, you should know that firms will start to contact students who have been shortlisted for interviews starting on September 12th and interviews will be held from September 14th to October 2nd:

To help you prepare for your interviews, the following resources will be available:

CPA Interview Preparation Workshop – September 13th, 4:15 pm to 6:15 pm
In this workshop, the types of interviews the firms choose and why will be discussed along with some best practices to prepare for every possible scenario. Anticipating firms’ expectations and creating talking points, questions for the interviewers and tailored responses will be the platform for getting ready allowing candidates to put their best foot forward. Support to prepare answers for open-ended,  behavioural and value-based questions will be provided to help each student make the greatest possible impact on their interviewer(s). Each student will leave the workshop with tools to complete their preparation for interview success along with strategies for follow up to protect any investment made to secure the interview(s).

CPA Interview Coaching Appointments – September 13th to 19th
DAP Career Coach, Russell Garrett, will be available for 45-minute in-person coaching appointments for interview preparation from September 13th to 19th.

You’ll be able to sign-up for these appointments on COOL under the Appointments tab starting on Tuesday, September 6th.

Please note these appointments are reserved for students who have been shortlisted for interviews. Any additional appointments made will be cancelled. Students will be permitted to schedule a maximum of one coaching appointment during this time.

Once the interview period is over, Russell will be available to meet with students for online appointments on all other career development related issues.
