We’re pleased to advise that we are continuing to accept applications for the the Financial Assistance Bursary program, for 2020 Winter Term 2 (January to April 2021) offering up to $20,000 in bursary funds for new and current UBC DAP students experiencing financial hardship due to the impacts of COVID-19.
As a leader in professional studies, we feel strongly about supporting qualified domestic and international students pursuing their studies on a part-time or full-time basis. Whether you recently lost your job or if you’re facing financial hardship, we’d like to do our part in helping you continue your path to becoming a CPA.
Selected applicants will be awarded $765 CAD in the form of a tuition credit, covering the costs of one course in 2020 Winter Term 2.
To apply, please complete the following steps by Monday, December 7th:
- Complete and submit the UBC DAP Financial Assistance Bursary application form
- Submit the following documents by e-mail to Shannon Thompson (shannon.thompson@sauder.ubc.ca):
- Up-to-date resume
- Covering letter that includes the following: a) a brief explanation of your reason(s) for requesting financial assistance through the UBC DAP Financial Assistance Bursary program. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that their financial hardship is a result of recent, unexpected changes in their circumstances and b) a reference, academic or professional, including their contact information (phone number and email) in the covering letter.
