CPA has provided updates on some important CPA Fall Recruit resources and upcoming events:
Recruiting Code of Conduct Webinar
Earlier, we posted a link to the printed CPA Fall Recruit Recruiting Code of Conduct. The Code is now also available as a webinar.
If you are participating in Fall Recruit, It’s important that you review the Code, which:
- Outlines the student recruiting process in BC
- Describes the responsibilities of participating student candidates and member firms employing CPA students
The Institute of Chartered Accountants helps ensure these guidelines are being respected by students and firms. All firm employees involved with Fall Recruit are required to watch this webinar and agree to adhere to the Code.
Fall Recruit Application Form
When applying for positions through Fall Recruit, you’ll need to submit the official CPA Fall Recruit Application Form along with your resume, cover letter, and unofficial transcripts as part of any applications.
Fall Recruit Event Registration
Registration for the September 4th and 5th Midsize Firms and National Firms networking events will take place in early August. Instructions on how to register for this event will be posted in mid-July.
Hi. I’m wondering about this:
“When applying for positions through Fall Recruit, you’ll need to submit the official CPA Fall Recruit Application Form along with your resume, cover letter, and unofficial transcripts as part of any applications.”
When I click on the clink it appears broken. Is this form something still relevant that we need completed for our applications?
Please let me know. Thanks!
Hi Robert – yes, you should be including the 2014 CPA Fall Recruit Application Form with your applications. The link to the form can be found on CPA’s website at https://www.gocpabc.ca/cpa-fall-recruit/, but can also be downloaded through this link: http://www.gocpabc.ca/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/2014_Fall_Recruit_Application_Form.pdf.
