CPABC is running a number of great events this March, including Discover CPA and a CPA Public Practice Recruit Information Session. If you’re a student who is unsure whether you want to pursue a CPA and have not yet declared your accounting major, or are new to your business program, Discover CPA is for you! Hear from 4 CPAs who have non-business  backgrounds and completed their CPA, now working in very interesting careers. Also, this event will include a transferable skills workshop, where you will learn how the skill sets you’re developing as a post-secondary student are relevant to, and needed in, the CPA world. The CPA Public Practice Recruit Information Session will be very helpful to you if you’re planning on participating in Public Practice Recruit this spring and/or fall. Learn how the recruitment season operates and how you can put your best foot forward as a candidate applying for co-op, internships, and full time positions with public practice firms in the lower mainland (spring and fall) and on Vancouver Island (fall).
