The 2020 Winter Session (2020) schedule for Term 1 and 2 is now available on the  myUBCDAP Schedules page.   Registration instructions have also been updated for the Winter Session. Registration for 2020W courses will open at 9:30 am on Tuesday, July 14th.

Please note at in light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation and in support of physical distancing measures, Winter Term 1 courses have been moved online as announced by UBC. DAP has also planned for Winter Term 2 courses to be online as well, with the option to re-introduce in-person elements to the schedule, should physical distancing requirements be relaxed before or during the term (see the Winter Term 2 schedule for further details).

Please be advised that the Summer Term 1 final exam schedule is now available on UBC’s Exam Schedule page and you’ll also find your personal exam schedule updated on SSC.

A new section of BUSI 493 has been added to the Summer Term 2 schedule. Live/synchronous activities for this course will be held online Fridays, between 9:30 am to 4:30 pm (a detailed schedule of exact times for each week will be given on the course outline).

BUSI 493 is focused on the practical application of strategic management concepts.  Students take a senior management perspective and consider the role of the accounting professional in strategic analysis and decision making.

The pre-/co-requisites for this course are as follows:

Pre-requisites: BUSI 293
Pre-requisite or co-requisite: Two of BUSI 294, BUSI 329, BUSI 370, or BUSI 465

In addition to the listed pre- and co-requisites, it is also highly recommended that students complete BUSI 493 after completion of all foundation courses (BUSI 293, 294, 335, 370 and 393) and in their last term of studies in the program
