Reminder – DAP’s Careers in Accounting workshop series continues with The Power of Specific Cover Letters workshop Monday, November 1st, 4:45 pm PT (live online and live in-person options available)

As a reminder, the next workshop in DAP’s Careers in Accounting workshop series will be held on November 1st. 4:45 to 6:15 pm PT, with in-person and live online options available. The topic of this workshop will be The Power of Specific Cover Letters.

Many candidates have told of sending out 50 or more applications before landing their targeted career goal. There are few things more impacting than a well written specific cover letter. When candidates move from general cover letters to specific expressions of relevant skills and company knowledge with passion and confidence, the response rate of employer’s climbs significantly. Discover how you can tailor your letters to specific companies, people and positions and bring out the best of your past to demonstrate your previous performance to help them believe you can produce results again. Create an attraction that will compel them to invite you to an interview and make you a job offer.

Registration for this workshop and the remaining 2 workshops in this series is now open on COOL where you will have the option to select the in-person workshop or the online/virtual workshop (please make sure to only select one of the two for each workshop date).
