Attend this overview workshop to learn how the CPA Recruitment process works and how to give yourself the greatest chance at increasing your success. Get insider tips on how to research about public accounting firms, connect with firm staff, and prepare before job postings go live.

Starting May 13th, on-campus coaching appointments are available throughout the spring and summer months to help prepare you for every step of the public practice recruit process. If you’d like feedback on your application documents (cover letter, resume) in advance of these  upcoming application deadlines, make sure to make an appointment with DAP Career Coach, Russell Garrett.

Available on-campus appointments can be found on COOL (once you’ve logged in, select Coaching Appointment from Coaching & Calendar from the left-hand side of the page and then from the search screen, select Russell Garrett as your coach, but leave all other fields blank to return all available appointments to choose from.

The UBC DAP Student Club’s Regional Firm Networking Night will be held on Thursday, May 23rd, 5:30 pm.

• Time: 5:30pm – 9pm **Registration begins at 5:30, please arrive no later than 6pm**
• Dress Code: Business Formal
  • Women have the option to wear dresses, suits, skirts with blouses, tailored trousers with blouses, or evening pants.
  • Men must wear a jacket with a tie and tailored pants or a suit and tie.
