KPMG will be hosting Day in a Firm on May 7th, 9 am at their Langley office for their Enterprise Core Services (ECS) group.

A Day in a CPA Firm at KPMG is a great opportunity for the best and brightest young professionals to learn why KPMG is a great place to grow your career! During this event, you will discover all the opportunities that KPMG has to offer, tour the office, and network with representatives from our Enterprise Core Services group.

Aspiring to become a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)? Looking to make some valuable connections from those currently working in accounting roles? Interested in finding out more about different firms, public practice and industry?

The UBC Sauder annual CPA Alumni Mixer is an opportunity for you to meet with Sauder Alumni who have gone through Public Practice recruit in past years and/or are now working in Industry! Find out about the differences between firms and industries, enhance your networking skills, learn more about what their day-to-day looks like and get tips to help move your career forward!

CPABC will officially start the event with a few words about the designation and networking tips. Marra Neilson, Student Recruitment Officer from CPABC will be available at a booth to answer any questions about the profession, the CPA program and CPA recruit.

Dress code: Business Casual (no jeans). Registration is from 5-5:30pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Please note that this event is not a recruiting event and students are not required to stay for the full 2.5 hour period.
