Reminder – Learn more about campus hiring for CPA Pre-Approved Program Route (PPR) Positions – Upcoming workshop for fall recruit (2023 start dates) on August 8th

As a reminder, DAP career coach, Russell Garrett, is holding workshops on the upcoming fall recruitment cycle for pre-approved program route (PPR) positions. The majority of public practice accounting firms will be hiring through this cycle, so if you are interested in working in public practice and will be ready to start a full-time role in 2023, attend the upcoming sessions to learn more and build your foundation for a successful recruitment experience!

  • Monday August 8th, 4:45 pm to 6:15 pm PT – Public Practice Recruit – Applications (in-person and virtual)
When PPR job postings begin to drop, the competition to land an interview begins to create a real buzz on campus. Channeling that excitement and emotion into well prepared and specific applications will be your next challenge. With recruiting having both online and in-person components, it is even more important to make your application count. Come learn how to make an impact with a results-oriented and relevant resume accompanied by a specific cover letter that will prove your understanding of the relevant skills, previous performance, and knowledge desired by the firms you are pursuing. Discover how to communicate your own personal story, academic success, relevant skills and your fit in your new career path as an accountant and aspiring CPA. You will leave this workshop with the ability to put your best foot forward with each firm you apply to.
  • In addition, coaching appointments are available throughout August.

Registration for this workshops is now open on COOL – you’ll have the option to select either in-person or virtual attendance.
